LOCATIONS:
Summary of Locations: Crafers West, Seaton, Hove, Campbelltown & Home Visits.
Crafers West, Seaton & Home Visits are preferred locations and can offer some clients bulk billing fee benefits - explained below.
Face-to-face consultations are for 1 clinical hour (50 mins.).
Consultations can be arranged at Hove (Griffith Rehab. Hospital, 13 Dunrobin Road, Hove) and Campbelltown (NE Community Hospital, Lower NE Road). I do not bulk bill at these locations and even with an appropriate GP referral there would be a significant gap to pay.
Naturally, professional confidentiality applies. Referral is not needed unless you are seeking the Medicare Mental Health Care Plan (Item 2710) benefit, explained below. Phone (08) 8339 5465.
TREATMENTS AND COUNSELLING include hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), and analytical, cathartic/abreactive techniques (which can involve dream and guided phantasy work).

ONLINE AND TELEPHONE COUNSELLING can be negotiated on request.
All fees quoted below are in Australian dollars.
Human Resource reports, Social profiles, Assessment of psychological injury & forensic reports. (Fees by negotiation and generally range from $200.00 - $1,2500.00)
Reports are based on testing and interviewing. They usually specify and refer to Personality, Intelligence and Interests, reference-checking as required, diagnoses/prognoses where relevant, and recommended treatment where relevant. Reports are usually for Human Resource purposes (recruiting or strategic planning), forensic purposes (matters coming before the courts) or rehabilitation purposes (e.g. reports to Workcover).
CONSULTING FEES (see below): These fees mentioned above are for private clinical clients and do not apply to professional or corporate clients, issues likely to, or intended to come before the courts, or to issues requiring extensive written reports. Fees for such services are by negotiation.
BULK BILLING & FEES FOR CLINICAL SERVICES
Persons with a "GP Mental Health Care Plan" from their GP AND who also have a Centrelink pension or health card are bulk-billed
(meaning no cost to client) if they consult me at Seaton, Crafers West or arrange for me to do home visits. Otherwise my fee is $160.00 per clinical hour (50 mins.) Persons not eligible to be bulk-billed through Medicare can use private health insurance if they are in an appropriate "table". Note, Medicare will not allow clients to use both Medicare and private benefits.
MEDICARE REBATES FOR ELIGIBLE CLIENTS: My clients who get a "GP Mental Health Care Plan Item 2710" from their doctor are
eligible for a $76.65 rebate on up to 12 visits per year with a report back to the doctor after the first 6 visits. I bulk bill (i.e. no cost to client) where the client has a pension or health care card and sees me at my preferred locations (Crafers West, Seaton or arranges home visits).
Fees for Online or Telephone Counselling: Not covered by health insurance. Standard service (see under "Services" above) $400.00 per month in advance. Specific parameters of service by negotiation but usually up to 4 hours per month. Payable by cheque or Paypal by arrangement.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Clients who are not eligible to be bulk billed are required to make their payments at consultation. There is a $20.00 surcharge on consultations not paid at consultation.
CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS". If an appointment is missed without 24 hours notice a fee of $77.00 is immediately due from bulk billed clients or $150.00 from non-bulk billed clients, and note well this cannot be rebated by either Medicare or private insurance. The reason for this charge is that regardless of whether you show-up or not you have contracted to use my time. Several "no shows" in a day add up to a massive loss from the working day. There is no charge whatsoever if you give 24+ hoursw notice of intention to cancel or alter an appointment.
Note, as my fees for clinical services, $160.00 (for non-bulk billed clients) are heavily discounted (note: APS nationally recommended fee $200.00 per hour) I do not take credit cards. Payment may be made by cash, personal cheque or postal note.
INVEST IN YOURSELF: For less than a full service on your car, or your home
insurance premium or about 1/2 what it usually costs to get your car
airconditioning fixed you can have a course of appointments that could make a
positive difference to the rest of your life. Don't make the mistake of
investing more in things than on yourself!
